What's the difference between each level?

Absolute Beginner

Perfect for those that have no prior experience. Each dance is walked through, each step and pattern broken down step by step and each wall is practiced before putting the dance to music.

Beginner/High Beginner

Dances are walked through at a quicker pace. Knowledge of basic steps and patterns are assumed which have been taught in the absolute beginner classes, so some patterns may not be broken down step by step. You should feel confident with the below:

grapevine, coaster step, shuffle, K step, V step, jazz box, rock, weave, step lock, mambo

Improver

Dances are not always walked through. Confident with combined patterns and correctional changes such as 1/2 turns and 1/4 turns. Comfortable with more challenging  dances and dances with 48 counts and comfortable  with tags.

You'll be introduced to more complex patterns as below:

sailor steps, monterey turns, cross shuffles, wizard steps, samba steps, more turns

Intermediate

Dances higher than 32 counts, more styling and complex moves. These are introduced in Improver if requested.
